Or allow one or the other, or even both.. I've seen it on alot of other sites, and even used it for several applications I've purchased online.. Moon Posted July 7, 2005 Share Posted July 7, 2005 There is a number of reasons, but perhaps the biggest is that the infrastructure needed to get 1 GB of data to hundreds or thousands of customers is massive. We have yet to find a solution that does what we think it should do and is uncomplicated, reliable, secure and affordable (both to the customer and to us). Offering a 100 MB download to a dozen customers is comparatively easy. BTW, some of our games *are* available as downloads via direct2drive from the respective order pages.
