hockey
hey guys i just got the game 10 mins ago, combat mission:beyond overlord special edition. ive installed the game. now when i go to play it and click on it in the start menu it seems like the game is tryin to load but nuthing happens. it appears on my task bar, so i try right clicking on it so i can move it(i think its move off the screen cause i see something move off of it) but when i right click it seems to fly back onto the screen to the task bar, if i right click again it flys off the screen. let me know if im confusing you. anyways, i alt-ctrl-delete to see if its working, and it says the game is running but the game is nowere to be found. please help because this is very frustrating.Time of this report: 8/28/2003, 11:20:27 Machine name: SHAWNS Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition ( Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Compaq System Model: Compaq PC BIOS: Default System BIOS Processor: Intel Pentium III, ~1.0GHz Memory: 382MB RAM Page File: 133MB used, 787MB available Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0 (4.09.0000.0900) DX Setup Parameters: None Card name: RADEON 7200 SERIES

Schrullenhaft
Did you go through the 'resolution selection process' which is a series of black screens with text boxes in the middle listing the currently attempted resolution ? Once your Prefs file is written out (which will contain your selected resolution) CM should load fairly quickly (at least to get to the initial screens).
