Zanadu Posted July 3, 2006 Share Posted July 3, 2006 One of the audio clips in the 'lobby' is the report of the disappearance of a flight between England and Paris carrying band leader Glen Miller. Appearantly, his a/c, a small transport plane, was hit by bombs jettisoned by RAF Lancasters aborting a daylight mission when their escorting Spitfires were unable to fly due to bad weather. The transport's flight would have taken it across an area off the English coast used for this purpose at about the time the a/c were dumping their loads.
