Hope you have a good break Six, and come back fit, fat and fabulous!

And I can assure the rest of you that both of these campaigns are nailbiters - for different reasons!!

At Leningrad you do not have enough aeroplanes.....regardless of which side you're on! You simply can't do all the missions....which ones can you afford to ignore? Can you stretch a bit further by not escoring your bombers....?? Can you get away with using obsolete fighters in "quiet" areas? Can you pick up a few points by massacring his obsolete fighters with your good ones in a quiet area?

On the other hand in "The Rock" there is no shortage of aircraft - each side has enough for full missions to every area and then some. But is it worth it?

The other guy has the same, so how do you ensure your guys are as fit as possible - is it worth fighting everywhere, or better to have fresh reserves for next turn? Casualties are enormous, and points in the end game are just as valuable as those at the start.

Both campaigns immerse you in decision making processes that leave you nervous and nail-less - the actual fighting is incidental!!

I might add that in case you didnt know Stalin made the Leningrad 42 campaign and yes its a good one. Maybe better than Iwo and Okinawa. And if you like that one, well he is gonna make more too!!!

And even though you cant buy the East Front Expansion Pack yet, you will be wise to do so as soon as you can. Dont let the name fool you its the East Front but so much more!
