Sixxkiller
Hi everyone, Stalin is competing in the annual New Zealand National Wargaming Convention (NatCon) over the Easter holiday. Go get em Stalin! -Ray
Guest Mike
Thanks - sadly I only got 2nd, being beaten by the eventual winner & another chap. For hterecord I competed in the 25mm DBM competitoin - being "ancient" wargaming (ie pregunpowder) - using "Nikephorian" Byzantines from about 990AD. I did spend a bit of time looking at the "Flames of War" games tho, checking out the a/c they were using and mentally ticking off their stats for DiF!! lol A good result, a good weekend, and now back to the work in hand...when's the next update out?!! Sixxkiller
LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "There are no points for 2nd place." -Viper from the movie Top Gun Hehe j/k. Hey isnt 990 AD around your birth century too??? And now I am beating you not only in kills but in elite medals! -Ray
Guest Mike
Yes it does resemble the century of my birth - it's only 10 away. And anyone with several hundred more missions than me should have more medals.......especially if htye have no life!
Sixxkiller
LOL, well I think the 71 actual missions I have played thats more than you isnt SEVERAL HUNDRED, even in the land that gave us Lord of the Rings and sheep porn. As far as no life, I wake up, play DIF, eat, play DIF, and sleep again while watching TV. I live with 3 women so I do not have to cook or clean so I would say there is a life here, a damn good one!!!! But the next 3 weeks I will not be playing much so you can go and take back the crown. And BTW Mr Stalin, you may have finished 2nd in your tournament, but you are still an old sheephearder to us. -Ray
Guest Mike
And how many extra missions did you play with other pilots to be able to get that extra 71 eh??!  I'm only an old sheepherder to you because that's your fantasy......
Sixxkiller
Extra missions? Those are not extra missions and I would bet there were less than 99 of them in any event, hence the "hundreds" you speak about has no weight. And theres an old saying, "If it looks like a sheepherder, talks like a sheepherder, and walks like a sheepherder, its a sheepherder!" The old part comes from this saying, "If a man goes and plays with little soldiers from the year 990AD, and cannot remember the words to 50 Cents "In Da Club", ummm he's old!" -Ray [ April 18, 2006, 12:24 PM: Message edited by: Sixxkiller ]
Guest Mike
You think way too much about sheep - just as well you dont' live on a sheep farm or the term "animal husbandry" would apply!! Any artist who calls themselves after a small quantity of money isn't worth knowing. Abba had the right idea about Money - it's a rich man's world!
Sixxkiller
Hmm a reference to ABBA? Now that is just bad and you are no longer old, u are old with bad taste in music! -Ray
Guest Mike
If 50 Cents' music is still good after 20-30 years then maybe you'll be in a position to talk about taste in music - until then you young whippersnappers should just accept that you're wrong
Sixxkiller
ABBA is disco, in 30 seconds that music sucked! Dont tell me you sit back, grab a Zima, and fire up ABBAs greatest hits. Then you say I have no life hehe.
Guest Mike
Abba is disco? You show your ignorance in so many ways young padwan! And one does not sit back and grab a Zimmer - one leaps up and uses it for support - you have so much to learn. And no life to learn it in!!
Sixxkiller
Oh ABBA fan who doth not realize his disco loving roots, if tho would like to test MAYHEM he can go to the secret server and fire it up. Just remember during the record changes that he must place planes in every region for it to worketh. And WTF is Zimmer? -Ray
Guest Mike
Zimmer ...as in Zimmer frame for us oldies. I assumed that's what you meant by a "Zima" - if not then wtf is a Zima??!!
Sixxkiller
Well if Fosters is Australian for beer mate, Zima is American for sissy drinks one would drink while hearding sheep with ABBA blasting from the 8 track. -Ray
Guest Mike
Ah...I shuold have realised its a sissy drink if you mentioned it!

Mistura
Hi all. Can't you just feel the YING/YANG of these two mates. Pass the Fosters and put in the best of ABBA, and may peace be with you two. This is good entertaining fun.

Sixxkiller
Grammer isnt thy strong point, it should be "true words spoken from aN ABBA fan (Who doesnt just sip Zima, he bathes in it). But I guess as long as you are bathing its a good thing. -Ray
Dan Verssen
I can see it now, the deadly L/W of "Dancing Queen" and "Fernando".
Sixxkiller
OMG Dan, if you do "ABBAS Dancing Queen" boardgame I swear I will buy every copy and ship it to Stalin every Christmas so he can not only rock out to it on his 8 track but also show all of New Zealand what kind of mentally deranged things can happen when you mix a case of Zima with 10th century wargaming and the internet! My only hope is he doesnt see fit in his drunken stupor to dress his minatures in bell-bottoms and platform shoes. Maybe I will hold one back so Misturas children can call him "Dancing Queen Blimpy Head" behind his back!!!
Guest Mike
Even Abba are allowed a few fubars - such as Dancing Queen!
