Guest Mike Posted January 6, 2006 Share Posted January 6, 2006 I've got a few nicknames for planes where I think there's some obvious physical feature I can ridicule or priase - thought I'd share them with you Wildcat - Barrel P-40 series - Big Nose Raiden - Stumpy Oscar - Falcon - OK, so the Japs called it that too, but I like it - I reckon it's the prettiest a/c next to the Spitfires Buffalo - Tubby Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Since one tastes good and the other may taste better than some English dishes I have partaken (well I can imagine it would if I could chew metal)I still keep my vote even with your dissention!
