Moon Posted July 28, 2004 Share Posted July 28, 2004 You will be able to mod pretty much all graphics (and audio) content at your heart's desire, including e.g. airplanes, pilot portaits, interface and so on. All files are easily accessible GIF's, WAV's etc. We will not allow for modding the game itself, e.g. no custom rules or adding of new planes. This would be death to a game where the main fun is shooting down human opponents in online dogfights We need a set of rules that is "untouchable". Kind of like what we did with Combat Mission. If all goes well, then this would be an option, i.e. you could choose to download your opponent's "skin" or not, depending on your bandwidth, connection speed etc. In other words, pretty much like a bunch of other games out there. It would definitely be nice to see your opponent custom pilot portrait, that much is sure. Cannot promise this for v1.00 however, but it's definitely on the list of things still to do.
