Korut Zelva
Can the game record a whole game? After a game is conceded and if the opponent agrees, someone could store and watch the replay of the whole game and see how the war was conducted
John Hugo
That would be cool. The great but dated game: Command HQ had an excellent replay movie, which you could watch after the game was over.
Iriemon
Recorded games you can replay a la Command HQ would be very cool. Think of the AARs -- you can watch and dissect the moves of the masters in action.
V
That would be very nice.
Fireball
I also must say that this would be a nice alternation from watching the history channel Fireball
jon_j_rambo
Yep, this would be cool. Would love to have the replay record the dice rolls too.
Iriemon
It seems the mechanism for a game replay are already built into SC. When you get a PBEM file, you see a replay of your opponent's last move, which is really cool. The game replay file would string the moves together. The old Command HQ replay feature allowed you to slow down or speed up the replay, stop and any point and replay either side from that point. This is pure candy, I'm sure Hubert has other things to work on, but it was very satisfying watching the replay (in Comnmand HQ) after a long fought war, and the ability to watch replays in competitions by the great players would really add value to the game as a tournament game, IMO.
