Riso
While looking for a program to watch cutscenes in Freespace 2 (what an awesome game), I found this very interesting program. http://www.teamx.ru/files/utils/D3DWindower1.88.rar It allows to run any Direct3D game in a window. Caveat: It's in Japanese only. But do not mind the gibberish in the options, the usage is easy enough. Press the plus sign to add an application, and press play to start the hack. Then just minimize the hack and launch the game as usual. Because I don't have enough screen estate to show you SC2 in a window, I give you Fallout2 instead as a proof. Problems: It sometimes doesn't release the mousecursor, so not really useful for playing at work, but great for keeping a watchful eye on the background. Exel
It launches SC2 alright in the window, but once you fire up a game it loads the graphics twice on top of each other. You got the game screen in the window, but then you also get a smaller game screen on top of that. What's even weirder is that you can only click the bigger screen behind the smaller one, but you can only scroll the smaller screen in front.
