Big Dog
Is there any reason to send the BEF to France in 1939-40? I have never seen it slow the conquest of France. It seems much more useful conquering Norway during this time. There does not seem to be any diplomatic loss for not supporting the French and all sending it seems to accomplish is to risk its unsupplied destruction.
Lars
Not really. You can screw up the German's schedule a bit by letting it entrench in Brest, thereby forcing the Germans to bring in something heavy to kick it out, and then sailing away when they get there. But then, a Corps is good enough to do that, and you just might get trapped if they bomb the port.
arado234
If you do that you could also leave yourself open to invasion of the Island.Like Lars said if the Germans bomb the port the Brit.will be done for.
