Marky Posted December 10, 2004 Share Posted December 10, 2004 i dont know if this has been discussed before, and i didnt see it wen i looked for it so here goes as we all know wen france goes under its divided into occupied and vichy france i think that if and wen u invade vichy france, and take marseilles, the vichy government should surrender, and france should be reunified, and all the colonies should all immeadiately, regardless of whos occupying them, be rreturned to french control and if i rmember right, and im not sure, the capital of vichy france was not Marseilles, but the cioty of Vichy, whcih of course bcame the govt name any thoughts>? Vichy is a spa and resort town of around 60,000 in central France, near Clermont-Ferrand, in the département of Allier, of which it is a sous-préfecture. Bill101 Posted December 11, 2004 Share Posted December 11, 2004 The problem is that the town of Vichy has no strategic value apart from the fact that it was the seat of the government.
