JJColorado
Hi, I've always wondered how to assign units manually to be commanded by an HQ. I know how to set the HQ to manual but can never figure out how to assign a particular unit to be commanded by that HQ. Can someone help? Thanks
TaoJah
IT's a bit difficult, yes. First of all, you can only do it at the start of your turn. You got to set the HQ on manual, then select the HQ again with a left-click. All units will turn either green (the ones attached to that HQ) or blue (the ones not attached to it). You can then right-click the units and and either select "detach" or "attach". (obviously, the first time you do this, you should probably start with detaching some units, before you can attach others, since their will be the maxed number of units attached to the HQ) Note that this will only take affect at the END of your turn, so during the opponent's turn and your following turn. Bromley
Just to clarify, you can do it at any time as long as the unit that you're trying to attach/detach has not moved. i.e. you can move the HQ, which might let you attach units that were not in range at the start of the turn. Also, the effect (AFAIK) is immediate. Certainly the Readiness stat as displayed of the units in question changes. You should probably use Auto-Assist rather than Manual as Auto-Assist means any unused slots get allocated at the [not sure if it's the end of your turn, the start of his or the end of his]. Whichever way, it's pretty useful, especially if like me you forget to check your HQ attachments every turn.
