BTW, anybody interested in this kind of thing might be on the lookout for a book called Military Science and Tactics: Infantry Basics by Col. P.S. Bond. In the back, he has the TO&E for every U.S. Army infantry organisation from company up to regimental level. The neat thing is that he accounts not only for each and every personnel and gives the rank of each, he also accounts for every vehicle and weapon, right down to pistols! For instance, a 60mm mortar team has in addition to its mortar 2 carbines, 2 pistols, and 1 Garand. Wish I could get my hands on more stuff like this.
