crashes on i-mac

Hello, I am running a Imac, G4, 700Mhz, 32mg video memory. Video is NVDA, NVMAC Geforce 2MX.

The demo opens fine and lets me choose a scenerio but crashes the machine everytime the graphics load.

Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Which OS are you using, I assume it is 9.2.2 ? If you're trying to run CMBB in Classic Mode under OS X, then it won't work at this point.

If you're using OS 9.2.2, then you may want to install the latest v. 3.0 drivers. I don't know if they'll specifically address the problem that you're seeing, but they have worked for others using NVidia cards/chips on the Mac (you'll need to copy and paste the following URL since it is too long for UBB):

While these drivers should work, they aren't perfect. I've heard of slow performance for a number of software titles and I'm fairly certain that the background 'sky' bitmaps in CM will be really fuzzy.

You may also want to check that no ATI-related extensions are loading up too. I recall one OS 9.x version defaulted to loading both ATI & NVidia extensions.
