Scipio
I just wonder (okay, I'm currently to idle to test ) Do tanks trigger off AP mines, and if not, why not?
Hans
They should and some would be of danger to exposed crew. AP mines would also be a risk to light wheeled vehicles. I don't think that is modelled Oh fun trick, use AP mines on a road, I find that PBEM players will detect the mines but not look at them closely to see if they are AT or AP. The trick works the other way too. Mines is mines as Willie and Joe might say
Mud
*snort* That's why some of us mod the signs so that they're of different color.
MeatEtr
Are there any mods for the AT/AP mines yet? Or are the cmbo mine mods compatible with cmbb? Hard to tell the difference at a glance. FYI. Was playing the other day and had a 150mm infantry gun pounded away at some troops near some AP mines. After about 4-5 turns the AP mine graphic went away. So obviously explosions will set off some mines and can completely remove the minefield.
MeatEtr
**bump** Curious about the mines mod!
Mud
Well, if you're curious, the mine sign bmps are 1220.bmp (AP) and 1224.bmp (AT, daisy or buried). The originals are 128x64 BMPs.
