Question about CM scenario design

Hi everybody

I like design CM scenarios, but I have not more experience with CM design engine.Now I need a bit help of veteran designer.

Now I´m making a scenario where Germans have a defensive position in the center of the map. My question is : Can I deploy germans units in their places definitely in the setup phase (only first time)? or every gamer must deploy them at the begining of every game?.This fact can modify the historical development of battle.

I want to fix defensive units to terrain without change locations every time...so historical scenario can be played.

As far as I remember (no CM here at work ) you should be able to do this by having no setup zones. The player should then be unable to move th eunits anywhere during the setup phase (I think).

When you are finished with the map art work,click on review map

Now you get to see the map with the units,place them where ever you want and padlock them.

If you dont want to padlock them just place them where you want and tell a player to use the computer stick to scenario default

Flak88, as Stoffel said, if you want to padlock specific units, in the map preview after you placed them on the map, right click on the units in question and select "padlock". This will lock them into place. Even if placed within a setup zone, the player will not be able to move these individual units from their initial location.
