lavgunner
Whenever I view the action phase of a turn and click DONE the game does the usual and ask me to save the file. The only thing different is that it won't allow me to change the name of the file. I have to save it under the name my partner sent it under. Even if I would have changed the name after closing the game, I don't see how that could change the data in the file itself. He mailed me this morning saying the file was corrupt and that it was asking him for my Allied password. It seems like I sent him the exact file he sent me.
Schrullenhaft
I'm not sure how to respond to this one. Have you ever had problems renaming the PBEM file before ? From what I could tell either the screen wasn't updating when you typed in the name or nothing was saved.
lavgunner
Can my mods effect his game? I don't see how, but I reloaded the file watched the action phase (while not engaging any mods) and returned the file sucessfully . Maybe just a fluke, anyway all is well now. Thanks
Schrullenhaft
Graphical and sound mods should NOT affect PBEM file saves. The only problem I've seen along these lines was with NVidia drivers under Windows 2000/XP and some of the interface mods. But that is no longer an issue (and it was consistent because of the 'white transparency issue' with NVidia) with the latest drivers.
