Pack Kuma Posted November 14, 2002 Share Posted November 14, 2002 Hi, I've downloaded and installed the Real Color mod, and found that we've reverted back to the short stubby little default trees (CM geek aside: on the way home from work, I was picturing the side of the highway as if it had the round deciduous trees and cracked myself up). I reinstalled Kinney's tree mod, and we look good again, except they look just a tad neon compared to the realcolor trees. Any chance of getting a more subdued version? I don't have paintshop, only the default xp paint program, so I can't do it myself, though it seems like an easy fix. Thanks! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tanks a Lot Posted November 14, 2002 Share Posted November 14, 2002 I'm glad you like the trees, but they are meant to fit in with the default CMBB terrain. I don't plan on modifying them to fit in with other mods. There will be too many terrain mods with too many variations of color and brightness. Jonah Posted November 14, 2002 Share Posted November 14, 2002 I second the regrets Ed.....I really enjoy your tree mods.....but am a big fan of the subdued look. If I remember correctly your CMBO real trees came after the subdued look 'revolution' and fit in well. The RealColour mod readme has an explanation of how to convert terrain mods to match and I'd be willing to give your trees a go, unfortunately I don't have photoshop.... any other volunteers?
