Can't install the game

I was wondering if their was a way to install the game useing start menue and run. I got windows 98, please somebody help me!!!

If you have the Demo, then I don't believe that there is a setup program. The file should unextract when you double-click on it (in Explorer file manager) or launch it from the Start|Run menu and I believe you can specify a directory you want to install it to from there (including one that doesn't currently exist, if I recall correctly).

If you have the Full version then just stick the CD in your CDROM drive, goto the Start menu > Run > type x:\setup.exe (where x is your CDROM drive letter). This should run the installer and default to installing in the C:\PROGRAM FILES\CMBO directory (which it will create). Sometimes the installer doesn't work on some systems. If this happens, then I would recommend turning off any anti-virus programs and anything else that you may have running at the moment.

If you need more help just give us the details as to what happens when you attempt to install.

Insert your Combat Mission CD-ROM. Double-click on "My Computer" and then on the icon for the CD-ROM drive that appears. Then double-click on the "Setup" (or "Setup.exe") icon that appears. Follow the instructions that appear on screen.

From then on, you can run Combat Mission from the startup menu.
