Is there any scenarios where this even matters/comes into play ? All the ones I've tried have had really short engagement ranges, 4-500 meters max. Any scenarios that have long range duels ? Halberdier Posted October 26, 2002 Share Posted October 26, 2002 The operation Mobile Defense has some ~1000m engagements (though, IMO, the map is too small), and is challenging as the Germans. von Lucke Posted October 27, 2002 Share Posted October 27, 2002 I designed a scenario ("Greyhounds Race to Glory") set on a long map, and several people complained it was too long --- they evidently prefered to start the action at point blank range.
