Splash
Hi all I've been trying to translate some scenarios from PC to Mac and just can't seem to work it out. Can somebody get me some hand holding advice? Thanx
CombinedArms
I'm a devout Mac user and have translated hundreds of scenarios onto the Mac with no problem. The key is to have software that can unzip a zipped file. I use Stuffit Deluxe which has the DropZip utility. You just drop the file onto DropZip and with one more click the file is converted. If correctly converted it should be a simple text file ending either: <.cmb> for a scenario or <.cmc> for an operation. You have to buy Stuffit Deluxe but there may also be free zip converters out there. If so, perhaps someone else could help?
Splash
Thanx there Combined Arms. Yes, it was very simple just went to Netscape and searched and up came MaxZip which does the trick quite nicely Thanx again
Goanna
That utility is actually called MacZip and is currently in version 1.06. It can be used to create .zip files that can then be used on a Mac or PC. As stated, Stuffit Expander (currently in version 6), which is also available free on the net, will open pretty much any archive format on your Mac. Big Ron
There's also a program called ZipIt available on shareware, $15-00 as I'm sure you're an honest bunch
