Gaylord Focker
Hello again friends, i'm here with another thought. I understand that it was not uncommon for Artillary brigades to fire on enemy Artillary in combat. Quick example is the Neblewerfers, though deadly and intimidating, left a long stream of smoke, a trail if you will right back to the tubes. Yes they were mobile, but did not always escape. Or even even bombardment from the skies on artillary might be able to work in CMBB. Just an idea.
Michael Emrys
Almost certainly beyond the scope of the current game engine. Worth putting on the wish list for the engine rewrite, though. Michael
CMplayer
I believe the explanation is that the arty you have in the game is what 'got through' after counterbattery fire like you describe took place.
Visom
I don't think counterbattery fire is within the scope of CM. More strategy than tactics IMHO.
