rleete Posted May 3, 2002 Share Posted May 3, 2002 I've seen movie footage of a Tiger 1 firing (Tunisia?), and even that monster rocks back. This in spite of a very good recoil buffer, and the tank weighing in at over 60 tons. I'm pretty sure most any tank rocks a little when firing, except for maybe some of the lighter armed (20mm) ones. In a recent tv show on modern tankers, it showed several shots of M1A1 tanks firing, and they shook the whole vehicle, too. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
