mchlstrt
Does anyone know if the CM rendering of Graphics is consistent from system to system? An example: You do the 'pinkie' thing for transparency, & they're all solid. When CM renders the Graphics there's still a little pinkish spot here & there. You move a pixel one way or the other & it looks great. Is this what it will look like to everyone else, or will it render a little differently from computer to computer? mike8g
When CM renders the Graphics there's still a little pinkish spot here & there. This "pink spot syndrome" is not a problem of different rendering on different machines, but a problem with the mod itself. The CM engine renders pink color in a texture as tranparent color while in 3D mode. But this pink color MUST have these RGB values: 255/0/255. If they differ a bit, the pink spots will be displayed in 3D [ May 11, 2002, 09:19 PM: Message edited by: mike8g ]
mchlstrt
Thanks, I didn't have those #s. I was using a pink I picked off another mod, & it was off (or more likely I did something to 'off' it). That's likely that problem. What really got me going was some spots on a Face, if you've checked your e-mail. Thanks again Strt
