Venjra ICQ 2126434
Hello guys, some friends and I were talking about how future CM games could be and we got to some interesting ideas. We love the way CM generates terrain and buildings, our idea was to have the same tactical element as we have now, we plan the mission in the sandbox and assign waypoints to units or vehicles, then we hit GO and the player is given the option to play as first person perpective. For example you can control any of your units on real time using the Orders given to reach goals. If you order a Squad to move to Hill Alpha and stay there then you have to play as a grunt and move to that waypoint to achieve the given goal. After seeing how nice games like Medal of Honor look and feel it could be awesome to have a game like that, to let you give generals orders and then hop into any unit or armor vehicle. Could be a blast...instead of a 60 secon movie you get 3 or 4 minutes of real time to work it out!! But again...Im just dreaming
Gen-x87H
Not the way CM is setup. You plot your move and when you hit go it compiles the turn and plays it back for you. I suppose they could add a feature that will let you get into a units head and watch as that 300mm arty decimates it Gen
Michael Emrys
And the thing is, squads don't just act in a vacuum. Battles are fought through the interaction of many units combining their particular benefits to cover and support other units in an interlocking system of effects. That is one of the things that CM tries to portray. If you are looking for something like MOH, well then, why not play MOH? Michael
