Jeff Heidman
Is there any way to use a map from an operation for a specific scenario? How do you place initial units on the map at operation start? What happens when one side of a operation overruns the setup location for the other side? Jeff Heidman
James Ling
I can answer the 2nd question Jeff: In the map editor preview the map and you'll find both sides forces laid out in single lines. Just use the place order to position them within their zones.
Guest Germanboy
On the topic of maps - if you decide you want to have a larger map later, is it only extending it to the east and north, or can you choose that? If so, how? ------------------ Andreas
pathfinder
Germanboy, as far as I can tell (just did a quick check/test), you can only extend east and north. This means you have to re-do the zones and possibly any unit placement you may have done, or at least it has for me ------------------ unca pathy will show ya the path, if only he could find it himself! Damn! Now where was the CM1.1 wishlist? ------------------ Andreas
Bil Hardenberger
You can extend a map in any direction... I believe you have to use shift when extending it.. Bil
