Micheal Wittman
I want to make a map for a quick battle for my friend and I to play. We would like to have destoyed tanks/trucks in it. Like some buildings can be on fire or rubbled. Also is there a way to put trenches/barbwire/mines on the map. These objects would not be assigned to any side with points. They would just be apart of the enviroment. Thanks for any responses. CheerZ!
Soddball
One possible solution to your idea: Create the map that you want, with the units that you want. Then blow them up with an arty spotter, using up the arty spotter's ammo. Then walk the arty spotter off the map and save the game. Then create a quick battle, loading the saved game as the map and keep the units. It might work.

Micheal Wittman
Well gave it a try and she wouldn't doit. can not load the save game back into the editor. Maybe a request if it hasn't been is for CM VI to be able to lay out objects in such a way. CheerZ!
Soddball
You don't need to load the save game into the editor. Use the editor for the first bit, to create the battle scene you want. Then run the battle, causing huge explosions and all-round death. Then save, then load the battle you've just finished into the QB setup and purchase your units.
Micheal Wittman
Just tried that and it loads the ground and building damage but not the killed armour that was there. It would have been nice for affect to see the dead column there too. Thanks for the tip. CheerZ!
Soddball
One other solution would be to create a two-battle campaign and play the first battle, leaving wrecked vehicles and craters where you want them. You'd then, of course, have to balance up the points in the editor otherwise the scores would be unbalanced.
