Little_Black_Devil
Its a decent site - even if it does have an Eastern Canadian spin to it. I haven't read through it top to bottom, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is yet another history about D-Day that fails to mention who - out of the entire 21st Army Group - was the first to complete their D-Day objectives. Michael Dorosh
The Juno Beach Centre itself was a travesty, according to some visitors who posted to the forum at my site. Not just Eastern spin, but Liberal spin. Instead of talking about the war, apparently large tracts of the museum are devoted to Canada's failed multiculturalism policies circa 1970 to the present day. The website does seem to have some good pictures and info, however.

That's right; Third Canadian Division did - briefly - achieve their D-Day objectives. Then sat there for an entire month until Charnwood! Not that the Hitlerjugend and Panzer Lehr were giving them much of a choice, mind. Except for the yellow rats of the Royal Winnipeg Rifles, of course.
