Checking Out Stats

Is there an easy way to check out vehicle stats besides setting up a fake battle and buying the units then starting the battle and looking at the stats? Is there an simple way to do it? :confused:

Or you can pick scenario editor, buy the item, map preview and select the unit. No game starting necessary. (I mean, you need the game program but don't need to hit "go" or wait for any map generation etc).

If you like, save a "scenario" with items you care to consult in it already, and reopen it to check stats in the editor.
