Mad Russian Posted October 21, 2004 Share Posted October 21, 2004 The 3rd Armored Division is trying to close the Falaise Gap. Desperately trying to turn it into the Falaise Pocket! And they will UNLESS the 1st SS Panzer Division stops them. These two first rate divisions, are going to slug it out, for the village of Fromentel-sur-Orne. The village isn't much to look at now, and it sure won't be, when the fight is over. Pick a house before the battle starts and see if it's still standing when the smoke clears. Chances are good that it won't be. This is another of the 3rd Armored Division Mini-Campaign scenarios. This may well be the toughest fight I have ever made. I think it shows the power of the American Armored Division to it's fullest. The battle has been done for H2H play, as well as, a version for play against the AI. Both are posted on the Scenario Depot. Come join the 3rd Armored Division as it fights it's way across Europe. See if you can win the SS Slugfest at Fromentel-sur-Orne.
