Can someone please tell me how I can manually turn the ATI zbuffer on and off in the registry? Bogdan Posted January 12, 2004 Share Posted January 12, 2004 Hi, First, you need to download the Rage 3D Tweak here : Rage 3D tweak page . AFAIK, the default ATI setting menu on WinXP doesn't allow to modify the ZMask. I had a BIG improvement after setting this device with the tweak program : FPS switched from 12 to 25-30 in battles :cool: Then, I was able to put more trees, more doodads, etc. without slowing down the machine !
