culocerrado
I find pretty much all wav files in CMAK of lower quality than the old CMBO ones...especially of those from MDMP 1&2...can't say much about CMBB 'cause I didn't get to play it but a couple of times...so...can anyone suggest me a few good sound mods?...if not a few at least one...I've already checked the Combat Mission Mod Database, but I didn't find anything that good (hope I'm not offending anyone...)...thanks
von Lucke
Actually, I've copied over sound files from CMBO to CMBB to CMAK --- I've increased the volume on some (arty, mostly), decreased it on others (burning noise), and replaced some completely (ambient background, small arms). By this point, I'm not sure which ones are original, and which aren't. But I can tell you that most sound files are numbered the same all the way through. So, if you like those CMBO .wav files, copy them over to CMAK. Though, you might search around for Oddball_E8's "Father of None Sound Mod". He put together quite the collection. Ncrawler also put together some sounds back in the CMBO days that were pretty good.

junk2drive
At www.cmmods.com under CMBB Ncrawler's is under Astrocat's name. OE8 is under his name. Capt Wacky's came with the CMBB SE disc. It is good IMO. It also comes with MPEG suite to convert mp3 in wav and instructions on the proper wav output. email me if you want a "sound map" of the sound numbers in bo and bb.
Philippe
Perhaps I'm misunderstanding something, but does that mean there are sound mods on the CMBB SE CD?
junk2drive
I finally found my SE 2nd disc. No sound mods. I must have found it somewhere else. EDIT At cmmods by Captain Wacky
