averagejoe
Hello, I live in CA and have bought an English retail boxed version - only includes one CD - and a little more than 3/4 through the install it stops and asks for CD 2. I have tried copying the setup.exe to different HDs and ejecting the CD and aiming the installer to a different CD/DVD but cant trick it. The CD is titled: CM3_AK_CD_1_2 ...so I feel confident there's not another CD. I have Norton and everything else turned off/disabled. Im running WinXP with a SATA HD, CDRW and DVD drive. Thanks for any suggestions! -AverageJoe War Guy

Gort
The UK (CDV) version of Combat Mission 3 - AFRIKA CORPS does indeed consist of two disks.
dieseltaylor
Death to CDV! Why anyone would wish to knowingly buy a poxed-up version, hampered by rubbish copy protection is beyond me. I can only take it that you were unaware of the home grown product available by mail order from Maine. Once you are able to play and love it as much as we do get your friends [ and enemies] to buy the US version. All the best! a UK limey

On the "peg" holding the cd, does it say 1 or 2? Because that is how many cd's there should be (if the box is like my CMBB and CMAK cases). If the numbers don't match, ask the retailer for a replacement.
averagejoe
Sergei - you were right, there was a mix up with "packaging" and the retailer has given me a replacement with TWO CDs! THANK YOU for your help! -AverageJoe
