This is one of the soon to be released 3rd Armored Division mini-campaign scenarios. These scenarios follow the 3rd Armored Division across Europe as it fights it's way from Normandy to the end of the war. So you think you are a tanker do you? Well try this battle on for size and we'll see. This sceanrio was made after several phone interviews with the author of "Death Traps: The Survival of an American Tank Division in World War II" by Belton Cooper. The map, German defense and American attack were all put together from his personal recollection of the battle. And what a fight this is!! You have an American Tank Battalion to breach the German defense with. The points for this fight are off the charts. More than half of those points are for German and American positional fortifications though. The battle is really about a large-medium fight. It is by no means huge as it says.
