CMAK and The NWE Theatre

I am aware that CMAK will cover Italy, presumably till wars end ?

So what (in relation to units / terrain) will stop the creation of western front scenarios ?

ie we are not going to get an updated CMBO so will CMAK basically be this anyway ?

An interesting question.

BFC have intimated that CMAK will include some features (such as 'High Hedges') that will allow us to convert old CMBO scns into CMAK 'format' but not sure if enough to cover all aspects of NWE ?

I suspect (but dont know) that rather than terrain issues (as Italy essentially includes NWE terrain types) we might be missing several units types due to non-use/rarity in CMAK realm such as JagdTiger, JagdPanther, Pershing (none of which to my knowledge saw action in CMAK theatres ?) and similarily some Inf types such as late war (ie 1945) US/Brit Paras and ?

But since BFC have not issued a unit/vehicle list for CMAK its hard to know just what will or wont be available.

Despite any 'shortcomings' ref being able to redo CMBO scns the inclusion of the Desert War stuff alone makes CMAK worth the asking price IMHO never mind the engine enhancements and other theatres included

I suspect we will see numerous conversions of CMBO favourites anyhow...........
