GunnerJ
I love CM and really enjoy playing by TCP/IP. However, the exchange of data is incredibly slow. Is this solely an internet connection problem or is there something I can do to improve it? It really takes away from the game when I can go for a coffee while the turn completion data downloads Any suggestions?

Maximus
Yeah, my buddy and I tried to play the Gettysburg scenario and it took FOREVER to exchange data. Would have been faster if we PBEM'ed. It all usually depends on the connection speed. At the time though he was using a lowsy ISP and his sustained tranfer rates were only about 2.5K/sec when it should have been 4.5 or better.

Guess i'll just have to live with it until I get a cable modem
