A.I. Purchases, and Armoured Cars.

Recommended Posts

When allowing the A.I. to chose forces (Germans or Russians), it often seems to supply a whole gaggle of light armoured cars (or lend-lease half tracks, bren-carriers, etc).

I was wondering how ‘historically correct’ this is. Did frontline engagements really frequently feature whole strings of these? This often? I’m just curious, ‘cause it’s at odds with my idea of what ACs were for.

No it isn't historical. The AI is just allocating points to each CM budgeting category first, then picking where to spend it within each category. Vehicle points often appear as armored cars or halftracks. Some nations and periods, there aren't a lot of useful items on that screen, but it buys something anyway.
