Title: Knockout II Type: Meeting Engagement Date: August 8, 1943 Location: Mother Russia Region: North Weather: Clear, Warm Terrain: Dry Wind: Length: 38+ turns Author's Note: This was originally designed for tournament play. It is balanced for PBEM play. Do not let the points for each side fool you, it is very balanced as is! German and Russian forces are moving their forces to key locations to seize control of the road net. The valley ahead is a fertile region for farming. There is also a key bridge in the area. There has been fighting in this vicinity before. Both the Russian and Germans have moved in and out of the area. The pioneers of both sides have laid mines in the area and erected roadblocks. Both sides have pulled back at least twice. Last night there was an engagement between recon forces.
