Earl Grey
It is finally done! After hours and scrapping my first attempt at making a decent camouflage scheme, I managed to come up with this: I modded the Panther D Late to look like an Ausf. A of the initial production run (August 1943). The mod is based on a Panther of SS-Panzerdivison 'Wiking' around Kovel (Poland), April 1944 and done on MikeyD's wonderful artwork. Thanks, Mikey! Features include: - accurate engine deck - accurate running gear - first road wheel with 16 rim bolts - Zimmerit coating - divisional markings It's as accurate as I could make it, but I had to make a few guesses regarding the placement of the markings. But I'm quite pleased with the result... A final note: I had to cheat here and there to fit the textures onto the polygons (e.g. the MG port cover). So if something looks funny it might be because of that. For DavidI, I have this little present: Plain yellow, just added the markings. Hope thet's okay. Both are at CMMods, so go get 'em!
