Alexei
That's two good websites I have found: http://panzernet.webzdarma.cz/index.htm http://www.wio.ru/tank/ll.htm The first one shows good photos, not the most common ones. The second one is about lend-lease and is more classical. But, if you consider the numbers, you will notice something quite strange: M3A1 Stuart: 1676 (OK) . . . M4A2 Sherman (76mm): 2095 (OK) . . . M26 Pershing: 1 WHAT??!! Is it true? It must be, I found it on other sites as well. But how is it possible?! At the time the M26 was developped, Russians did not really need tanks from the US, especially only one!! OTOH, no doubt that they studied the technology, gun, protection... Certainly useful in Korea! Does somebody know the story of that M26 sent as a gift to Stalin?
