ckct
Hi guys, I need some little clarification. My friend and I setup hotseat game. Since both of us are busy, we decided to convert it to an email game. He made his turn and sent it to me. Last night I made my turn, it did the calculations and instead of showing the action, it dumped into an email file and ask me to send it out. My friend got the file, and able to see the action then it dumps the game to an email file again. Since I am at work, I can't access the file. My question is how does PBEM works? Is it: a) you make turn, send PBEM I make turn, send PBEM c) you see, send PBEM d) I see, send PBEM?? Thanks.
stikkypixie
It works like this: 1) you give orders, you send those orders to your friend 2) he gives his orders, his computer makes the movie and sends it to you. he doesn't get to see it first because that way he might replot his orders watch the movie, etc 3) you watch the movie and send it back to him 4) he give new orders, after watching the movie and sends them to you 5)etc...
c3k
ckct, Just like stikkypixie said. Each CM turn needs 3 emails to complete. (A-Plan 1, B-plan 1 and watch 1, A-watch 1. Then the cycle repeats with B-Plan 2, A-plan 2 and watch 2, B-plan 2.) Email is a great system. It allows you to play the game with a human opponent at your own speed and during your own free time. The vast majority of email opponents are generous with their time and great to play against. Ken
