nikola79
Hello, I've read the troubleshooting section for installations on PC, but I haven't found the answer yet. When I finish executing the CMMOS Utility Installer (from the Special Edition Mod CD, or the one downloaded from the net CMMOS_v4.03), I get a error saying "16 Bit Windows Subsystem - C:\Windows\system32\autoexec.nt. the system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications, choose close to terminate the application" It has not installed. any ideas??
Philippe
Not sure I can help with this, but I'll take a partial stab at it. What kind of system do you have, where exactly are you putting the downloaded file, and where are you trying to install it to? And just so I'm sure we're on the same page, what is the name of the file you're trying to work with (I know that sounds a bit like asking the color of Robert E. Lee's white horse, but bear with me). I'm not familiar with that particular error message -- something strange is going on, either your system is unusual, you have too many programs running in the background (have you turned everything off including firewalls ?), or you're trying to run it from or to an unexpected place.
nikola79
PIII 733mhz, Win XP, I've a partitionned drive: split into 2, with C:(windows stuff, 5gb, 400 free), and D:(everything else, 15gb). I installed CMBB into the D: partition. I am now trying to install the CMMOS installer which is on my MOD CD (file name - "install CMMOS" , which is the same as CMMOS_v4.03 on the web) I installed the file labelled "Install CMMOS Mods" without a problem. But obviously, not being able to load the Mod utility previously mentionned will prevent me from being able to access the mods.
junk2drive
I have XP and a partitioned drive c: e: f: CMBB on e: I copied the folders from the disc to a folder on e: Try that first. Did you download the 4.03 from CMHQ and try running it? Your antivirus or something may be preventing access to the disc file.
