I wonder how effective these armoured trains were.

To me they sound like a juicy target, which has had alot of money spend into.

In Kurt Meyer's book he writes of an encounter with an armored train. It apparenty caused heavy casualties to his battalion.

They seemed to have been relatively successful-at least they built them. Perhaps in an area with little enemy air or artillery assets and poor road communications they might be useful.

Hopefully someday they will get modded-if for anything to see 'what if'
