Adamo Posted February 16, 2006 Share Posted February 16, 2006 Why is that sometime, when you're targetting an enemy unit with a mortar, you get the 'Area Fire' message and other times you get 'Enemy Infantry' message, meaning that you're able to target the unit directly? Corvidae Posted February 16, 2006 Share Posted February 16, 2006 Mortars require direct LOS to a targeted unit, Otherwise they can only use area fire, Mortars cannot switch back and forth without a direct command from YOU, A targeted enemy unit can drop from LOS by taking cover, or by hiding, (my oppinion) Even with direct LOS You are best off using the area fire command, 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
