dh1988
I bought CMBB in CompUSA several days and after reading several posts there seems to be less instruction in the manual included in the packaging than the one that is sent when you buy online. It's been a little difficult getting started and hoping to find out if there is an easier learning curve if you have the bigger game manual, is there that much more information in it to make things easier. The manual that I have contains no descriptions of units, vehicles, etc...just sticks to basics like the interface, combat commands, etc...
Snarker
The reason you have less in the manual is because you purchased the European version, which is not supposed to be sold in the US. Your manual's "missing" pages are in a PDF file. Edited to say: You've done nothing wrong and I don't mean to imply that you did. It's CompUSA's supplier and possibly CompUSA who are in violation of a marketing agreement. Soddball
Read the FAQ for more information. There is a link to it in my signature. You have the European CDV version.
Firefly
The .pdf does contain the tutorials, but not descriptions of the individual vehicles. If dh1988 wants vehicle details the following sites contain more details than you can shake a stick at: Russian vehicles: The Russian Battlefield German vehicles: Achtung Panzer [ January 05, 2003, 12:16 PM: Message edited by: Firefly ]
Nick Hyle
Will BTS mail 'real' replacement manuals at cost to U.S. CompUSA purchasers of the CDV edition the same as they do for European customers?
