All you need to do hammer everywhere he isn't. That is the most important thing to remember. If you like, join CMHQ chat and let's play a tcp/ip game. Glider
Nobody disputes that, you can win with T-34/76s against Tigers, decisively. But Tiger dominates 1943 battles just like KV-1 dominates 1941 ones. Have no time for TCP/IP, if you are willing we can PBEM, I can be reached at ivanX@cg.yu (remove X).
walpurgis nacht
So here you are. I would never actually use these cover arcs in reality, it just highlights the killsack all nice like. Notice he CANNOT kill a single t34 without exposing his flank.

There are 10-20-30+ realistic ways to deal with a tiger in '43.

Pioneers, tank hunters, in fact any kind of German infantry, 150mm guns towed or self-propelled.

Glider
Sorry I just think KV-1s in 1941 situations are very similar to Tigers in 1943. And 150mm will kill a KV much more often than T-34/76 will kill a Tiger. HE of that calibre produces some strange effects.
Glider
Just checked, PzJg I can kill a KV (the best armoured 1941 version) with a tungsten shot out to medium ranges even from the front side. Heavy 28mm AT rifle can kill it with a side shot.
Sven
The thing is that I almost always play scenarios. That is, I'm stuck with whatever the scenario designer has given me. I can't buy my own units, and I just wanted to find out which units actually CAN take out a Tiger, preferably without having to get behind it.
