How can deal with KV-2 in 1941?

Recommended Posts

Tanks are the least safe place on a battlefield. A foxhole is much safer and infantry units often didn't want tanks parked near them because of the amount of fire that they draw. A tank is the biggest threat on a battlefield so that makes it the biggest target
From where you get this? The mobile foxhole wasnt invented befor postwar, or?

Soldiers/crews do shooting at Targets who they can kill/destroy and not at every Tank on the Field. What do you think about War? Thats not a wish fest for armchair generals. You are there to fight and possible to die...thats it. Again, if you leave your unharmed Tank in a Battle, you are a deserter and get killed for it.

Your example with the soldiers who doesnt want to stay near a tank resulted in the common practice the Germans (Maybe other nations too) tried to get rid off the tank surounding inf. with shooting He rounds at those Tanks. Real effective.

Unfortunately, the 20mm does just fine, and combined with absolute spotting you have no problem dealing with KV-2s when you have a bunch of them around.

Same things as that the concrete pillboxes die much easier from 20mm fire than from 75mm fire, and the concrete ones die faster under 20mm fire than the wooden ones. In CM, the same MG in a foxhole is incredibly much more robust than either.
