junk2drive Posted February 7, 2004 Share Posted February 7, 2004 Captain wacky did a sound mod a while back that came with mpeg suite sound convertor. it worked for me, once i figured it out. once they are wav files, you need to check that they are like the specs in the other thread on the forum, look around or do a search. I did a random check on a couple of wavs, if ok then install. if any sound funny later in the game,you may have to go through each wav with sound recorder to find the bad one. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Here's an easy converter: http://www.etalonsoft.com/mp3decode.html If the sound files play too fast then they are stereo. They need to be mono. junk2drive Posted February 8, 2004 Share Posted February 8, 2004 after dling three freeware proggys i finally got the theme from "Combat" tv show in AU format to convert to wav. then changed with sound recorder to specs. it was mono and still too fast. used sound recorder to decrease speed. it worked.
