Der Kuenstler
Say you are in a position where you have to target blind a small clump of trees. Your target line is on the trees. You observe the shells coming down 150 meters short. If you adjust your target line 150 meters beyond the trees, will it hit the trees then?
Mordred
The AI doesnt work that way. I think it's random where blind shells hit...if you adjusted fire it would random (hit or miss) again. Also, adjusting blind can add big delays, especially for allies. It was much quicker in CMBO, but i find it is too tedious to be practical in CMBB.
Lucho
I tried this feature sometimes in the past and it does function, but you have to count on the fact that the following barrage may vary a little bit from the desired bombard location. The best thing is to adjust the fire two times. And if want to shell another blind location on another part of the map, your "computed" deflection for the first location is not correct any more (same procedure). A lot of time will be wasted, that´s sure.
