When I run the program, I get this error message: "Error: DirectX 7 or greater could not be found on your system. While we are currently investigating Vista, as a temporary workaround can you try and download the file called 'dx7vb.dll' and place it in your Windows\System32 folder on Vista? This file can be found on Windows XP or at various locations on the web. One such download repository to carry the file can be found here: http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/D/dx7vb.dll/5.03.2600.2180/download.html After you download and place the file in your Windows\System32 directory you will need to register the file. mgangwer Posted February 5, 2007 Author Share Posted February 5, 2007 After further testing, the Vista Ultimate plauges SC2 with all kinds of nasty graphical glitches - at least on my setup. The game plays but distorts or fails to load many direct x surfaces, such as the background.
